In order to stay ahead of our competition we are now upgrading our entire network to brand new technology that will allow us to provide home user connections up to 30 Mbps, well outside the capabilities of our direct competition and even beyond the reaches of the local hard line providers, especially in rural areas.

Thanks to this new technology we are now able to provide connections up to 10Mbits download and 2Mbits upload. Available from 1^st July 2011.

As we roll out the new equipment, all existing clients will be upgraded completely free of charge and new clients connecting in enabled areas will be connected directly to the new network.

Also available soon on our new network are real world static IP addresses for all customers. No more shared IP's and NAT aliasing, every customer will have their own LIVE static IP.

CyprusInternet.com.cy (D.S.S. Limited) is a fully Licensed Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP). We are Licensed to operate a 100% HyperLAN2 (5Ghz) Wireless Wide Area Network in Cyprus & hold authorisation's for all currently active transmitters.

Our equipment has been fully tested & approved by the Department of Communications (D.O.C.) Technical Department & licensed by the D.O.C. Licensing Department.

Our equipment is Licensed under Article 18(3) of the Radio communications Laws of 2002 -> 2006 & is certified for use by Cyprus and the EU along with 99% of other states & countries in the world.

As for reliability, we have been using this equipment in the UK in it's varying forms for more than 15 years with very few issues. It has been tested and proven to operate in just about all conditions, rain, sleet, snow & in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +70°C (Temperatures from manufacturers specifications).

Our dedicated and unshared fibre circuit has been laid through Paphos (9km) and forms a direct link between our NOC and Cyta's Main Fibre POP in Paphos, from there it connects directly to Cyta's NOC in Nicosia bringing our on-island latency to around 5 Milliseconds.

For redundancy, we have also maintained one of our copper lines as an emergency fail over.

Using the latest 5GHz (HiperLAN2) wireless technology we can deliver high-speed internet connections direct to your home or business, without the need for a phone line. Even if traditional ADSL cannot be provided to your property, we can get you on-line FAST. Our average call to installation time is 4 to 7 days.

We have made every effort to keep our installation costs to a minimum whilst maintaining the quality of the equipment we use and install at our customers premises. Whilst we will never be able to match the costs of installing a simple and cheap hard wired modem, we are 50% cheaper than the competition & should you leave our network, we will return your €100 equipment deposit in exchange for the return of the equipment we installed at your premises. We will even come and remove the equipment at no cost to yourselves.
